Nirit Takele (b. 1985, Ethiopia) is a contemporary figurative painter whose work explores identity, memory, and cultural belonging.
Having immigrated to Israel during Operation Solomon, her work draws from personal and collective histories, expressed through bold color and sculptural figuration.
Takele’s paintings have been exhibited internationally, including at Zeitz MOCAA and leading institutions and galleries across Israel and Europe.
Her work is held in major collections such as the Israel Museum and Tel Aviv Museum of Art, as well as significant private and corporate collections.
